You can find these and all other blue posts on our Dev Tracker. We also have trackers for other games, so be sure to check them out.

Unlocking Death Knights - account wide

Bornakk wrote:

We would like to make the "unlock" for the Death Knight account wide. It seems kind of pointless to make players do it again and again for realms or factions, but...

Keep in mind that all answers you get are subject of change

Death Knights and the Naaru

Bornakk wrote:

But the Naaru do seem like beings who have an open mind on things. While the Arakkoa tend to be enemies of everybody, they accept some of them in their city who have chosen to follow a separate path. Could it not work for Death Knights who seek to fight for the better cause and fight against a being who the Naaru definitely wouldn't side with?

We're in the process of fixing this and the Barking quests, as well as looking into other Brewfest matters.

I assure you, my team hasn't been idle today, but fixes aren't generated in two seconds.

Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Both the iTunes remote and the video capture feature are under consideration for porting back to Windows, it is a manpower and scheduling issue more than a technical one.

Brewfest Hot Fixes

Drysc wrote:

We've recently applied a number of hotfixes for the new Brewfest holiday event.

As we’ve seen a large number of issues stem from the Dark Iron attacks on Brewfest, both for our players and the game service, they have been temporarily disabled. At this time we’re still in the process of evaluating the situation and developing a better solution; however we hope to see the Dark Iron dwarves resume their attacks as soon as possible.

Until then we’ve increased the ticket rewards for the daily "Bark For..." quests from 15 to 40 tickets, and for the keg delivery quest which can be completed every 12 hours we've increase the value of each keg to 3 tickets. This still allows everyone to gain tickets at a rate comparable to what we intended the average player to be able to achieve before the Dark Iron attacks were disabled. For some players, especially on realms where tickets from the attacks were difficult to achieve, the amount of tickets received per-day could actually be increased.

As the Dark Iron attacks have stopped, we’re removing the ability to obtain a “Complimentary Brewfest Sampler” by /waving at Brewfest barkers and maidens (this hotfix will be applied soon). This will remain disabled and should the attacks begin again the samplers will be obtained through alternate means.

We’ve also hotfixed the Brewfest goggles to remove their duration. They are now permanent! The duration timer will continue to show until the next patch, but it will not affect the permanence of the goggles.

For further updates regarding any changes to Brewfest please continue to check this thread.

Update 10/04 9:57 AM PDT: We're aware the barking quests are not currently functioning for most, or all players and realms. We're in the process of investigating.

Blizzard also released two new Wrath of the Lich King screenshots, which you can check out below.

And finally, World of Roguecraft - episode 3 - the video of the day.
