Bethesda Offers Tip To Get RAGE Running On Your PC

Earlier this week, Bethesda Softworks released their much-anticipated first-person shooter, RAGE. Unfortunately, a number of PC users experienced some performance issues with the game as they got started playing. In the world of PC gaming there is such a wide array of system setups that it is difficult for developers and publishers to ensure that everyone will have a smooth experience out of the gate.

As is the case with RAGE, sometimes a group of users experience issues. id Software and Bethesda have released a quick guide on how to get RAGE running at its best on your system. Take a look below:

While many folks are playing RAGE on PC and not running into issues, we’re aware that some of you are experiencing issues with screen tearing and texture issues. These problems can be attributed to driver issues, and we’re currently working with Nvidia and AMD to resolve them as quickly as possible.

We know that you want to experience RAGE at its absolute best, so we’ll continue to use this blog post to keep you posted.

  • AMD users need to update to the most recent RAGE Catalyst driver. Grab it here!
  • Nvidia users should try updating RAGE to the current beta driver. When this driver is updated, we’ll let everyone know.
  • Visit our forums for solutions that can improve reported issues with screen tearing, blurry textures, and texture pop up.
  • We’re currently working on an update that will allow you to more easily make configuration changes… should have more details on that shortly.

Stay tuned for more update… and thank you for your patience!
