As I promised yesterday, we have some screenshots of Fallout 3 for you. I spent a bit last night playing it, and initially I'm very pleased with the game. The tutorial is very well done, and your character has multiple dialog options which alter not only the outcome of that conversation, but can also alter future potential dialog options as well. I didn't quite get to the point where I'm engrossed in lots of action just yet -- only just getting out of the tutorial before stopping for the night -- but I did manage to capture some screenshots of The Wasteland. I don't think I've ever seen a barren, devoid of life wasteland look so gorgeous. At any rate, check out the 15 screenshots below.
For my next set of screenshots I intend to get more actions shots, and some showing off the V.A.T.S. (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System). A word of advice: do not play this like a first-person shooter! While it may look like one, it is absolutely not an FPS. You'll quickly become disgusted in the combat system if you play it like one, so if you haven't had a chance to pick the game up yet, take that advice to heart and play it for what it is: an RPG.
