Round 1 Highlights

There were definitely some surprises in round 1! I believe three results in particular stand out.

Aela the Huntress v. Baal, the Lord of Destruction: Aela win
Seems we need to update history with this victory: "The Realm of Destructions belongs to the Nords!!!" Aela shot Baal with a cool 57% of the vote to his 43%; I hear he is due for knee surgery soon.

Logan Thackeray v. Sylvanas Windrunner: Logan win
Although Logan definitely has a strong fanbase, I had no idea it would eclipse that of Sylvanas' in a head on battle! Logan proved me wrong with his close, 54% to 46% victory over the Banshee Queen, knocking her out of the competition.

Ragnaros v. Grelod the Kind: Grelod win
I guess this isn't so surprising since anyone who's been to Riften knows Grelod the Kind kills all who look upon her eyes with pure, unwavering love. Ragnaros fell to ash, losing to her 48% to 52%.

Round 2 Predictions

There's a lot to look forward to for round 2, if you ask me! Just look at this bracket! Below are my picks for a few of the match-ups.

Steve v. Deathwing: Shutout Steve win (Prediction)

Minecraft's Steve is an all around good guy. He explores the unexplorable, sheers sheeps, builds fortresses and just tries to live a nice life among Endermen and zombies. Deathwing is the guy who jumps out of the sky and just ruins all that. Just for fun. No one likes that guy.

Thrall v. Tyrael: Close Thrall win (Preditcion)

This battle pits two forces of benevolence against one another. Although Tyrael is the embodiment of good, I believe that Thrall's human-like, well-intentioned personality is more relatable to voters. I think he'll narrowly win against the archangel.

Sgt. Blackburn v. John "Soap" MacTavish: Close Soap MacTavish win (Prediction)
While both amazing soldiers, Soap MacTavish is a proven and certified badass. You can't mess with that.
