2K Games Announces Borderlands 2 Season Pass

2K Games has announced a Season Pass for Borderlands 2, giving die-hard players a chance to guarantee themselves every piece of post-launch DLC at a discounted price.

Each individual piece of content that Gearbox Software released post-launch for Borderlands 2 will retail at $9.99 or 800MSP on Xbox Live. Folks who pick up the Season Pass will do so for a one-time price of $29.99 (PlayStation®Network) / 2400 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) / $29.99 (PC). Gearbox has promised that this will include around $40 of overall DLC, meaning that you'll be getting each piece of content at a cheaper rate than buying individually.

If you are confident that you will be buying everything that Gearbox Software releases for Borderlands 2, the Season Pass is pretty much a no-brainer. Note, however, that the Season Pass does not include the Mechromancer or any other pre-order exclusive DLC.

The only way you can guarantee access to that content is by dropping by and pre-ordering a copy of Borderlands 2. But, if we're honest, you should be doing that anyway.
