About World Map in Full 3D
Mod changes camera controls in ingame world map view so it becomes possible to zoom in almost to the ground and explore area around character in full detail.
Watch video to see the result.
Troubleshooting
1. Game doesn't start or crashes on save load - remove lines with uLockedObjectMapLOD and uLockedTerrainLOD (this may lower objects and terrain detail on the map)
2. Love clouds? Then remove line that contains sMapCloudNIF

Posted Jul 2, 2013This wasn't working for me, so i downloaded this version: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/145/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D145&pUp=1
Then you have to add the skyrim.ini [MENU] items to your Skyrim Documents folder, and also add the two data files to Skyrim Directory, and enable them, this is how you enable them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YatCiPBp1-A

Posted Dec 11, 2011For those of you getting a gray screen for the map, such as I was; try the following, it fixed mine:
[MapMenu]
sMapCloudNIF=0
fMapWorldMaxHeight=150000.0000
fMapWorldMinHeight=7000.0000
fMapWorldZoomSpeed=0.3700
fMapWorldMaxPitch=400.0000
fMapWorldYawRange=400.0000
uLockedObjectMapLOD=8
uLockedTerrainLOD=8
Granted it doesn't zoom is as close as this mod, but you can edit that in if you'd like.

Posted Dec 14, 2011for me only replacing those 2 values from this mod (in mod are 0-s):
uLockedObjectMapLOD=8
uLockedTerrainLOD=8
helped to solve the gray map issue.

Posted Nov 27, 2011For the LIFE of me I cannot get this to work...
Added the skyrim.ini.txt file to my Skyrim folder and nothing. Do you simply scroll in with your mousewheel to get down to ground level? So many questions about how to get this installed are unanswered I'm starting to think this is a big joke...
Include the "How to" install in your video would solve a LOT of problems.

Posted Nov 28, 2011From the readme file
1. Open C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini file
Translation: open this file(should open direct to notepad). you should see text looks like this
[General]
sLanguage=ENGLISH
uExterior Cell Buffer=36
[Display]
fShadowLODMaxStartFade=1000.0
fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=2000.0
fLightLODMaxStartFade=3500.0
iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048
bAllowScreenshot=1
[Audio]
fMusicDuckingSeconds=6.0
fMusicUnDuckingSeconds=8.0
fMenuModeFadeOutTime=3.0
fMenuModeFadeInTime=1.0
[Grass]
bAllowCreateGrass=1
bAllowLoadGrass=0
blah blah blah etc etc.
2. If there is no [MapMenu] section in this file just append the contents of Skyrim.ini.txt to it.
Otherwise change existing variables to match corresponding values from Skyrim.ini.txt.
Translation: Open the mod txt file. Copy the text from the mod txt file and paste it at the bottom(or if [MapMenu] text section already exists, adjust the cooresponding parts and append to rest if applicable)
hope this helps

Posted Nov 19, 2011Ok so I've noticed the map being entirely gray if I open it while in the northen mountains, it takes the snow aspect throughout the entire map.
If I open the map while in, let's say Whiterun, I see everything perfectly fine. Except my map wont go past the Shrine of Azura, ever. I cant view Winterhold or anything around it.

Posted Nov 19, 2011RMB is Right Mouse Button ) I tried a lot of vars combinations in config, but no luck fixing indoor world map... Waiting for Creation Kit now, but you can try to fix it yourself, mod was released under Apache License.
