Actually, it only includes the normal nUI release version, which is fine.

    nUI announcements...

    Hello all…

As everyone’s probably noticed, I’ve been pretty low profile the last few days… I’ve been way busy trying to move nUI to the next level which means I needed to get all of the infrastructure in place to be able to support you properly. With that in mind, I have two announcements to make about nUI…

First, I’m really pleased to say that nUI has received featured artist status at WoWInterface.com – my sincere thanks to Cairenn and all for the recognition and the support for this project. I do see it as both an honor and a privilege… I promise to treat it accordingly. Part and parcel with that news, nUI now has its own forum on WoWInterface… you can find it at http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=86 – I’ll be working over the next couple of days to get the forum organized and set up some stickies, etc. I’m all ears for input what you would like to see on the forum. I also invite you to join us there and contribute to the nUI community.

Second, nUI’s official web site is up and running. I still have features to add and work to do, but the core of the site is in place. You can find it at http://www.nUIaddon.com – as with the forums, I’ll be working over the next couple of days to finish rounding out the site and adding the nUI subscriber/member features. As with the forums, I would appreciate your feedback and suggestions for the web site as well.

As always, I thank you all for your support

It absolutely does work with Clique and quite a few nUI users rely on click-casting. I have no idea why it didn't work with Clique for you. Likewise, the 5.0 can be scaled, though that version is not currently available for free download. Along the same lines, the 15, 20, 25 and 40 man raid panels are all in the 5.0

This question has been asked four times in just the last two pages. The good news is that the three people who asked before you asked while it was still on the front page whereas in your case it has scrolled to the second page... so I'll answer it again... not that most people are likely to read it before asking again.

The simple answer to your question is no. Think about it... if you make the bars bigger, then they're bigger... which also means they no longer fit in the space provided for them to fit in.

That said, the actual answer is yes... *EVERYTHING* in nUI can be moved, sized and reconfiguered... everything. However, that requires that you hand edit the layout files to make the changes you want. For example... you edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Bars > nUI_ButtonBar.lua ] and you change the value at the top of the file that says "btn_size" to be a bigger number and you'll have bigger bars. The down side is that once you do that, if you update nUI, then your changes will be overwritten.

nUI 5.0, which is currently under development, will address that problem by making custom layouts possible though initially they will still have to be hand edited. In due time there will be GUI layout tools. Don't ask when, I don't know.

nUI 5.00.03 Alpha has just been e-mailed...

Yup… another EBF. It seems the last fix solved the problem with most loops in the agro chain tracking, but it did still allow for lockups on more complex chains such as targeting a mob who is targeting a mob who is targeting you, or targeting a player who is targeting a player who is targeting you, etc… those sorts of chains would still create an endless loop. Regardless of the complexity of the target and focus chains, it is no longer possible to enter an endless loop as the chain will be broken the first time any unit is found a second time in the chain.

In addition, I’ve added a new set of slash commands to make it possible to option which types of auras are highlighted in the unit frames (see the patch notes below)

As always, please post any bug reports, comments and suggestions to http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16845 if at all possible. If you cannot, you are welcome to post on any of nUI’s comment boards or via direct e-mail to me at [email protected]

nUI is user supported software. At present version 5.0 is available only via direct e-mail to nUI's language translators and supporters and is not available for public download. Key features present in 5.0 which are not present in Beta 4 include 15, 20, 25 and 40 man raid frames as well as combat feedback systems. Many more advanced features are planned in the near future. To add your name to nUI's subscriber list and become eligable to receive e-mail updates of nUI 5.0, please visit https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=681357 and make a donation to contribute to nUI's ongoing development.

    Version 5.00.03 (Alpha)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    * Yet another fix for the agro logic to prevent complex hard loops (player targets a mob to targets a player to targets a mob who targets the original player for example) which continued to cause WoW lockups.

    * Added a new set of slash commands for the feedback system...

    /nui feedback curse
    /nui feedback disease
    /nui feedback magic
    /nui feedback poison

These options allow the player to individually disable or enable each of the four feedback highlight types so that you can enable only those types you can dispell. By default all four types are enabled.

nUI 5.00.02 Alpha has just been e-mailed...

This release is an emergency bug fix for the logic error introduced in the agro calculation in 5.00.01 which would cause WoW to hard freeze if any unit in the target or focus chain was targeting itself… this was most obvious when the player tried to target themselves to buff or heal. Sorry about that one folks ~sheepish grin~

In addition, this release includes a couple of minor bug fixes and introduces a new slash command ‘/nui showhits’ which toggles the background red/green highlighting when a unit received damage or heals. By default this option is on, setting it off will disable that unit frame feature.

    Version 5.00.02 (Alpha)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    * Fixed a logic error in the determination of who has current agro that caused WoW to
freeze if any unit in the target chain was targeting itself (yes, an endless loop)

    * Added a new slash command '/nui showhits' which turns off the red/green background
highlighting on unit frames when they are taking damage or receiving heals.

    * Fixed the rotation order in the unit frames to 25 man precedes 40 man

    * Fixed a logic error in the aura bars where the bars failed to resize when the target
died or when switching to a new target that had no auras on it

nUI 5.00.01 Alpha has just been e-mailed...

nUI 5.00.01 Alpha has just been e-mailed to all of nUI's subscribers and language translators. If you have made a contribution to nUI and did not receive your copy, please contact me via e-mail at [email protected]

Highlights in this release are the addition of combat feedback to the unit frames and the porting of nUI 5.0 to WoW patch 3.1 – you should now be able to use nUI on the 3.1 PTR as well as the live realms. Another addition of note is a new slash command ‘/nui hud focus’ which causes the HUD to replace the target and ToT with the focus and focus target if the player has a focus selected… this option is off by default.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Version 5.00.01 (Alpha)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    * Ported nUI 5.0 to WoW Patch 3.1

    * Added combat feedback to unit frames... shows a red background on unit frames when
the unit takes damage, a green background when it receives a heal

    * Added debuff highlights to unit frames... unit frame borders highlight blue when a
magic debuff is on the unit, green when diseased, yellow when poisoned and purple
    when cursed.

    * Add agro indicator to unit frames... unit frame border highlights in red when the
unit is targeted by a hostile unit in the player's target chain or focus chain if
no hostile units exist in the target chain.

    * Greatly improved the hit and heal indicator update frequency in the battlefield
    minimap for PvP/Battleground play

    * Finally found and added a fix for the annoying invisible bottom bar Titan Panel
creates. This should prevent that bar from interfering with the bottom of the dashboard

    * Added the slash command '/nui hud focus' which toggles display of the player's focus
on and off in the HUD. By default, the HUD ignores the focus frame and displays the
player's target and target-of-target (ToT). Enabling this option will cause the HUD
to replace the player's target with the player's focus if and when the player sets a
focus. In addition, when this option is enabled, the ToT is replaced with the focus'
target if a focus is set. If no focus is set, the HUD will display the target and
    the ToT as per normal.

I'll look into it... I'm not sure why nUI would interfere in that though since the right-click to stop a buff is a Bliz thing, not an nUI thing.
