I haven't been playing Wow much recently, but I've reached out to Cybeloras to see if he wants to put his cata-compatible update to TellMeWhen here on Curse and/or generally take over both projects.
In the mean time, as r3belyell said below please use Cybeloras' version:

From the technical side: Currently uses Frame objects, but Buttonfacade requires it to use Button objects. Changing this breaks a lot of code
also, I haven't been playing WoW a lot recently. Kinda got burnt out+bored+missed real life. Consider this an open invitation for competent coder(s) who would like to contribute to and possibly take over TellMeWhen to step up as I'm not sure whether I'll be playing in Cata...

I'm not sure which is faster, but this method avoids creating a new variable. Is there a functionality case for using ChatEdit_GetActiveWindow() that I'm not thinking of?

TellMeWhen doesn't have custom counters or a free form way to set triggers based the combat log (which is what you'd need to do to track the CD on a player-rogue's kick--UI design for that would be tricky). Some addons allow you to set custom timers based on your skills, so you might be able to set one up to count down when your target or your focus cast a specific ability. Haven't tried it though.
If you're wanting this for PvE, you're probably not going to find one that's very comprehensive aside from the usual boss encounter addons like Deadly Boss Mods. The diversity of enemies and their abiities is just too big for it to really make sense.
Jul 17, 2010Make sure you're using the EXACT name of the buff as it appears when you mouseover it after it procs. I haven't played my boomy in a while, but I think that "Eclipse(Solar);Eclipse(Lunar)" will show whichever eclipse is currently procced.Link Removed

btw if you're never low on rage as a DPS warrior, you're probably not using heroic strike and cleave enough. ;)

In your situation you may want to leave your settings as they are though. if someone else in your raid is overwriting your buff/debuff it doesn't really matter who cast the buff--it only matters that the buff is there.
The option mainly exists for effects that can be repeatedly applied to the same target by different people e.g. DK diseases or hunter stings
