Thanks Thurraz! I think v1.20 released earlier today fixes it. Let me know! I may have still missed another possibility .:)
Just some info on what is happening. For dual slotted artifacts only - 1 of the 2 hands shows the relics in the tooltip. The hand which shows the relics is the hand which returns the correct item level. The other (non relic-ed) hand returns the base level of 750. For some artifacts the main hand shows the relics for some artifacts it's the offhand. This is all something I've just been learning. Thanks to you all for the reports and casual me only getting my paladin to 110 recently and running into it myself.
Thanks all for the patience and the reports! If you run into anything else let me know.
edit: just for clarification - when I mention tooltip showing relic slots I'm referring to the tooltips as shown on wowhead.
I just recently ran into this issue with my prot Pally and realized it was still broke. I finally figured out what was going on with the dual slot artifacts. The main hand always reports the base level of 750. And the secondary hand reports the correct item level. Even scraping a tooltip on the main hand returned an item level of 750 which is very strange.
Just uploaded a fix in version 1.19. Hoping this takes care of it.
Not only we're getting old but I think this has to do with how much increase in resolution we've seen over the years.
There are currently only a couple options to address this which aren't the best.
Under game settings - System - Advanced - adjust the UI Scale. But his impacts everything in the UI and really is not a good solution.
Here's a command line option that works currently in game -
/script frameFactionAddict:SetScale(1.25) - This will increase the scale of the faction addict frame to be larger (numbers under 1.00 will make it smaller. You can modify the 1.25 number to whatever you like to find the right scale for you. Unfortunately this is not saved between UI reloads. So it would have to be done every time you reload the ui. (maybe make a macro so you can run it with a button click) You can set the value to 1.00 (or /reload) to return to normal scale.
I will look into a way to do this in the addon in the future (so the scale value is saved) but that will be a ways off.
Thanks for the feedback. Hiding the other xp bars is beyond the original intent of the addon. I believe there are addons available that let you move and hide any of the elements of the UI. I don't use any of them so don't have specific recommendations on one.
There is no account wide tracking on a faction-by-faction basis.
However the achievement tooltip does show which character on your account gained which reputation achievement and the date it was earned. You can see the achievement tooltip by hovering the mouse pointer over the bottom of the 'Shown - Exalted' area of the addon. This is located at the bottom of the addon on the main 'Factions' tab.
Thanks for the feedback! And glad to hear it's still useful. I wasn't sure how things would shake out with the new transmog feature.
I've not thought too much about how best to integrate with the new transmog. It appears that there are 2 seperate states for a tabard regarding transmog and achievements. Those states are "collected" and "equipped". Adding a new tabard to your inventory makes it available via transmog - "collected". But you still have to equip it to make it count for the achievements - "equipped". At this time the addon only cares about the achievements and if the tabard has been equipped.
Can you give me more detail of your idea to help me understand? Are you wanting the addon to be aware of the "collected" vs "equipped" status? It may be best to keep them seperate via a new tab along the bottom or something to avoid confusion.
FYI - This is just brainstorming mode. I've no idea what is actually possible to do yet.
WoW was recently updated to allow 17 previously released tabards count towards the tabard collection achievements. And v2.30 of Tabard Addict has been updated to reflect that. Here's the 17 previous tabards that now count towards achievements.
Wrynn's Vanguard Tabard (115517)
Vol'jin's Spear Tabard (115518)
Primal Gladiator's Tabard (115972)
Stormwind Tabard (118365)
Orgrimmar Tabard (118372)
Frostwolf Tabard (119133)
Council of Exarchs Tabard (119135)
Arakkoa Outcasts Tabard (119136)
Steamwheedle "Preservation" Society Tabard (119137)
