Hehe I *love* your idea for Enderman legs! Endermen is my *very* favorite mob type. ^~^ And that does seem creepier. I, too, am a fan of the creeps. xP

Sacrifice is a part of life. There are mod that I, too, would like to be available for 1.10.2 or 1.11 (or 1.12), but I suppose we must all adapt to the challenges we meet. Whether we do that with zeal or loathing is up to the individual. I get upset each time game changes but the amount of time I am upset for has gotten less as I've realized this fundamental fact of life. Acceptance is followed by relief. I'm not trying to lecture anyone, especially Ayutaki-san, for whom I have a great deal of respect. I just hope I can share what I've learned the hard way, so it wouldn't be so hard for others (like my good man--or woman--Titoo8899, whose name I like, btw!) ^~^ Anyway, happy modding!

  • posted a message on Ender IO

As a newbie to modpack creation, and a new evangelist for EnderIO, but especially as a fellow developer, I can totally relate to the frustration with never having enough time to work on your "hobby" or "side" projects, like game addons/mods because you're too busy at work debugging thousands of lines of C code or Java byte code, or even having to interpret someone else's perl script <grin>.

So when you finally get some time to work on your side project (i.e., EnderIO) and are immediately faced with a wall of pleas, questions about release status and the odd retard trolling/flaming your mod's Curse page simply because God gave them the ability to do so, it's completely within the bounds of reason that one's frustration and stress, the dam overflowing, be released.

Although I've only just discovered EnderIO and am still mainly playing 1.10.2, I apologize on behalf of my fellow users and fans for the nagging, plaintive, "are-we-there-yet?!" syndrome, a victim of which I too, sadly, have fallen, fortunately far in the past hehe. Anyway, thanks again and looking forward to when the 1.11.* version *does* come out. Hope you are able to get time to work on it, not for us, but because you obviously like it, and it would make me and others sad, I've no doubt, if you find yourself unable to receive the joy that should come with hand-crafting a high-quality, useful piece of software and sharing it, simply because of the impatience of some of us.

-a new but very zealous fan,

    Sean (frosztbyte)

Reminds me of when I was 12 years old and finally got a SNES and the newest version of what will always be my favorite video game series, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (or Zelda 3, as we used to call it for short). Now I feel so old lol! That was in 1992. Thank you SO much for this sweet map! I just started playing Terraria, and I love it, but when I saw this (I was actually looking for Minecraft mods lol) I was intrigued and after playing it, I was instantly in love! =P I play this more than regular Terraria now lol!

I *love* your mod! Does anyone know if it's compatible with BetterFPS (1.10.2 or later)? If not, I might disable BetterFPS, but it does seem to help a little on my laptop, which is sadly all I have for gaming right now. :/ Anyway, just curious. Thanks for the sweet mod. It's awesome!

  • posted a message on Unifier

Beautiful mod! I used it to replace UniDict, which I like, but wanted to try something that didn't require an extra utility mod (I only have a mid-range HP laptop, so I have to make my own mod pack if I want to use mods due to performance and hardware constraints >.<). Anyway, I *love* Unifier, and was just wondering if it only worked with certain mods, as UniDict and several others do, or with all modded items, like ore, for instance. Since it doesn't mention it in the description, I assumed it worked with everything, and it works with the ones I'm using (Forestry, Thermal*, etc.), but I was just curious.

Thanks for all the hard work you obviously put into coding and developing Unifier. Put this down: frosztbyte (me): lifetime card-carrying Unifier fanatic. xP
