I've now had the chance to test the shadow word pain again. What happens is that once the pain is out a lighter shade of grey remains which confuses me as i dont stare at the addon seeing when it goes from one grey to the other. a simply fix of removing that lighter shade will fix my issue, i will have a look later today and see if i can find where it is and just change the colors around.
The lighter shade of grey is the SFiend/MBender cooldown. It's a bit tough to see the difference between the two as a priest right now, so come the rewrite (within a week and a half!) I'll make sure that the defaults are easy to differentiate. (The problem's because the classcoloring for priest is just white, so it ends up being white on white rather than another color)
I found that when playing my shadowpriest, the shadow word pain act as if my mindflay is renewing the dot as before the patch. Making me unable to track when to refresh with this specfic addon. I'm somewhat familiar with the addon language and can go in and test sorting it out if you point me in the right direction to where the problem occurs.
Thanks for the report. I'm not seeing the same functionality on my priest though... Are you using the most recent version?
I found two issues while playing my Paladin. First, Inquisition is not part of the Protection spec anymore, yet still appears on the bar. Second, Holy Wrath does not show its cooldown (and its icon has been changed).
Is it intentional that this addon is making Spell IDs displayed at the bottom of tooltips? If not, is there a way to disable them? I don't believe that feature wasn't present before.
Also, would it be possible to add an optional feature that only shows the addon while in combat? I'll insert the script myself if necessary.
Thank you for the updates on the Paladin config. Someone gave that to me saying it was updated for MoP for Holy/Prot but apparently either I misplaced it or it wasn't at all. I made some major changes so let me know what you think of Holy/Prot for update coming in a little bit (1.9.5-9)
As for the only show in combat, check out the config.lua file inside the EH folder, and read the comments for the lines related to Redshift. It does exactly what you want it to, and perhaps more.
The spellIDs is a holdover that I forgot to comment out. It's fixed for the next version.
I have been trying everything You wrote on main site to reconfig the sizeing..well even when i set it all back to what u have it yours is still wrong icons messed up..plz fix the size thing. you know it is wrong and telling us to fix it is wrong so,,go rewrite what You changed to make it so big (no reason for you to do that anyway) and make us all happy agian.. thanks for keeping it up but plz when doing so, and i understand why u might need it big to work on it..make sure to put it back to play ready...spells and such yes we players can work that to each person but main sizeing should be preset to something that doesnt cover half a window
Check my reply on WoWInterface. I asked you a few questions there.
Any hope to get visibility depending on spec used?
When I'm playing Shadow I want to see it all the time independend on whether I'm in combat or not and what target I have if any, but when I'm healing I never want to see it at show up at all, I have enough on my screen then.
Last time I kind of got it to work like that but I had to rewrite parts of the eventhorizon.lua and those are gone now. I also had some bug making it blink a bit until I disabled and reenabled redshift once after each login.
In the priest config delete or comment out all the healing spells. Then in config.lua look at the settings for Redshift. That can accomplish exactly what you want. Read the how-to section in the description for customization to learn about myconfig.lua so that your settings you change don't get overwritten when I release a new version.
