This addon is not being updated any more, but there is an excellent replacement. Delete all Spellflash addons, install Spellflashcore, and switch to Ovale. From SIL3ENTcurse's post below:

1: REMOVE SPELLFLASH AND ALL ITS ADDONS.

    2: Install Spellflashcore  https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/spellflashcore

    3: Install Ovale https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/ovale

I did this and it's working great. Took a little tinkering to get the flashes to where they worked for me, and you have to make sure to delete ALL Spellflash addons before installing Spellflashcore and Ovale.

That's it. Flashing spells are back!

Thank you so much!! Now - unlike with the old Bitten's Spellflash since Legion came along - I no longer get errors whenever I log into a character, and the spells flash appropriately for my new Legion rotations.

I very much appreciate this post, with its concise and perfect explanation, as well as the capability in Ovale to make the action bar buttons flash.

I've been using Bitten's Spellflash for close to a year now, and I love it. Enables me to play a variety of classes without having my aging memory get tripped up.

I was very unhappy when WoD came along and the old Bitten's configurations didn't work right any more - and Bitten said he wasn't going to continue with his addons. Thank you for taking them over, slippycheeze! I am very grateful!

I've added a brief summary of what the addon does, and I've updated it for the 6.0.3 WoW client.

After some very limited testing, it appears that KTQ works as before. However, it exposes a bug in LilSparky's Workshop, and unfortunately LSW has been abandoned.

I'm considering my options at this point. I could remove the dependency requirement for LSW and see if KTQ still works. Or I could investigate the possibility of taking over LSW and/or cloning it, and maintaining it. Another option might be to take pricing data from another source, such as The Undermine Journal addon.

Unfortunately, Gnomeworks Tradeskill Frame has also apparently been abandoned. It still works, but it needs updating (for example, it doesn't recognize the Reagents section of the bank). I haven't tried Skillet since the expansion because I've always strongly preferred Gnomeworks' simplicity/elegance and its automatic bank-snatch and vendor-buy features. I hate to give these up.

Is there sufficient interest in continuing with KTQ to warrent further work?

    Thanks for the response.

I'm not using Titan Panel or any of the LDB display addons. My main UI addon is Bartender 4.

My gaming mouse's wheel button is assigned to the character S so I can back up quickly when necessary in combat. (The wheel button's tilt functions are assigned to Q and E for strafing left and right.) Since rapid, precise movements are so important in may of the current raid boss fights, this is something I'm not willing to sacrifice.

Would it be possible to add an option to IdiotCheck to allow reassigning the group scan/check function from the middle mouse button to some other combination, such as Shift-Left-Click? This would make the addon much more useful for those of us who don't use LDB addons, and/or who have higher priority uses for the middle mouse button.

Incidentally, my non-gaming mouse's wheel button isn't assigned to anything; it has the default behavior of making a small magnifiying glass when it is clicked, which allows zooming the current page (which I never actually do).

The non-gaming mouse gives me the same little magnifying glass when I use it in-game on the IC button next to the mini-map. I never use the non-gaming mouse in combat, so I am not sure this behavior is relevant, but I thought I'd mention it since it appears the IC addon isn't capturing this middle click correctly either.

How can I change the group scan/check from the middle mouse button to something else, such as Shift-Left-Click? I already have my middle mouse button assigned to another function and can't use it for this addon.

I really miss this addon and hope it comes back.

Has anyone developed a fix for the problems that arose with the various 5.x patches? It used to work for me but sometime after Pandaria it became totally unreliable, and I eventually uninstalled it. I would love to have it working again, though!

I have taken over maintenance of KevTool Queue, an addon which allows you to automatically queue items up for crafting in Skillet with a simple command. I have found the combination of Skillet, LilSparky's Workshop, and KTQ to be extremely powerful. It saves me an enormous amount of time on my daily crafting chores.

I've posted a new version of KTQ with some updates for WoW 5.3. If you'd like to check it out, please go to:

Or search for KevTool Queue in the Curse client.
