I can't need/greed/pass when looting a chest/container. Not sure if this this has been brought up, or known yet. I notice it the most when playing alts and looting chest in lower level instances.

As the red text at the top of the page says, this is a known blizzard bug.
If you check WoW's loot history function (This is not part of XLoot) you will see that you don't see anything about those items' rolls there.
If you are running with a friend, you'll see the first roll you attempt for any of those items is counted.
So, just roll what you want. It is actually counted. The Vanilla frames go away when you click the button, XLoot's go away when they see the event handled properly. That's why they stay until the roll expires for those items, and don't show you info - they can't.

I'm getting an asterisk (*) on some items on the loot screen. What does this asterisk means? Thanks for the great addon :)

It means it's equippable. You can turn that off in Group's options.

Hi, I wanted to ask if this addon works for 7.1.5? If not, any plans to update it?

It should work fine. Are you getting any errors? Does it show up as out of date?

First i must thank you for a great addon. I have a question about xloot monitor. Now when someone in your group/raid loots something, you only see the first 3-4 letters or something of his name as it doesn't have enough space for both name of looter and name of item. Is it possible for you to change so the looters name shows up above or beneath the item name?

I've uploaded a new version with a player name width option. It may help, while not exactly what you're asking for.

I have recently started encountering an error when looting certain items. These items seem to primarily be either currency-type items (Apexis Crystals, Primal Spirits, etc.) or reward items (Artifact Power items, Champion's Equipment, etc.)

I originally thought it might be due to a couple of new addons I had installed but after disabling both of those I was still receiving the same error. I downloaded the most recent update from here and that did not seem to fix the issue either.

If this still happens when only XLoot is enabled, I can fix it. This error has happened a lot in the past and every time it has been another mod interfering.

    Thank you !

How to export config and autoloot list to another PC client WOW ?

Copy WTF\Account\ACCOUNT\SavedVariables\XLoot.lua to the other computer.

Worked fine for a few days and now causes massive lag!

Sorry about that. When does it cause you massive lag?

How to enable to autoloot only quest and green items ? I dont need other options, like frames, monitors, loot windows etc.

     Two problems :(
    1. Autolooting is part of the frame module, not separate
    2. There's no quality option in the first place

One feature I'd love to see is a "loot all, destroy grey" option for skinning.  It's always annoying to have to hand-loot a bunch of stuff that you KNOW will get vendored or more likely hand-tossed when your bags fill up, so that you can skin the corpse.

You can't destroy items on the corpse directly, so while I see it's definitely a useful idea it's also not a purely loot related thing.
I think there's addons that will maintain a minimum of bag space by deleting your cheapest greys already, but I don't have a name on hand.

    Thank you for the reply.

I actually disabled XLoot for a trial run through a random dungeon and the notices persisted, so it mustn't be XLoot. I'm not sure which one it is but given its just a little chat spam I'm not going to work to hard to find it. I just have too many addons to disabled one at a time to find it lol!

Try a binary search - search by halves of your list. Disable half. If fixed, disable all except half of what you just disabled. If not, disable half of remaining. Repeat.
