I am using World Quest List addon to keep on top of WQs.

However since 7.3 the world map have been having problems with forcing the map into max size without a world map frame so there is no control of downsizing it to medium again. It effects WQL.

When WQL is turned on it is the noisy type of problem, but the visual effect of the problem only disappears when I turn off MoveAnything, wether or not I have WQL turned on at the time does not effect it, so this is clearly not a WQL error.

I think WQL is having issues with something MoveAnything does to the world map frame, which is something it should not do in the first place.

I could live with the visual problem, it only requires turning MoveAnything off so I get control of the world map frame long enough to set the world map back to medium size. Annoying but not noisy. However the incompatibility issues with WQL is not something I want to live with, since it renders the addon unusable.

The original bug report is here with the worldframe lua error posted:

    https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/world-quests-list#c384

As you can see, the error is reproducible at my end. To be totally sure that it is about MoveAnything, I turned off all addons except MoveAnything and still got it.

For some reason the world map frame is gone, if I logged out of last session with the map set to full screen - I don't normally use my map in full screen, so I suspect something else happens to set it as such, but it is an insta reproducible error if I log out with max map setting.

Me and my mother have been having this exact problem for a week or two.

Our map for some weird reason is shown in sort of a fullscreen overblown version missing the frame. It does not happen on all characters. We run largely with the same set of addons, so I started looking into turning off addons effecting the map.

Pet Tracker, Handynotes+moduler, daily global cooldown+ modules did not do anything.

After trying to get the frame back turning between Window (maxed out), Windowed (fullscreen), and Fullscreen, it only got worse. I started getting this error too:

216x FrameXML\WorldMapFrame.lua:2460: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'centerY' (a nil value)

I decided to turn off MoveAnything, since I had used it to move the map frame, and the error was concerning map frame - this gave me the frame back so I could make the map medium size, which is my prefered setting.

I turned all the addons back on and there was no problem on reloadui.

I logged out with medium frame size and in again and still no problem.

I logged out with max frame size and the problem was back again.

    I turned MoveAnything off again.

I logged out with medium frame size and in again and no problem.

I logged out with max frame size and in again and no problem.

Anyways, try reproducing it with MoveAnything enabled, maybe move the medium map a little from its usual place first then log out with the map set to max size.

Onward to take 3 :) I tried adding an achievement to the watch list and got this error:

2x Overachiever_Tabs\Watch.lua:198: Usage: PlaySound(soundKitID, optional["SFX","Music","Ambience", "Dialog" or "Master"], [forceNoDuplicates, runFinishCallback])
    [C]: in function `PlaySound'
    Overachiever_Tabs\Watch.lua:198: in function `SetAchWatchList'
    Overachiever_Tabs\Watch.lua:215: in function <Overachiever_Tabs\Watch.lua:213>
    (tail call): ?
    [string "*:OnClick"]:2: in function <[string "*:OnClick"]:1>

    Locals:
    (*temporary) = "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn"

I went to Overachiever_Tabs\Watch.lua, line 198 and found the line:

              PlaySound("igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn") PlaySound("igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn")

    I replaced the line with

              PlaySound(PlaySoundKitID and "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn" or 856)

Noticing that line 201 contained PlaySound too:

        PlaySound("igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOff")

    I replaced it with

           PlaySound(PlaySoundKitID and "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOff" or 857)

And then adding achievements to the watch list using alt-click worked again.

OK, take two on the wonderful PlaySound issue. I tried to do a Suggestion for the new zones and got this error:

1x Overachiever_Tabs\Suggestions.lua:1614: Usage: PlaySound(soundKitID, optional["SFX","Music","Ambience", "Dialog" or "Master"], [forceNoDuplicates, runFinishCallback])
    [C]: in function `PlaySound'
    Overachiever_Tabs\Suggestions.lua:1614: in function <Overachiever_Tabs\Suggestions.lua:1612>

    Locals:
    (*temporary) = "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn"

I went to Overachiever_Tabs\Suggestions.lua, line 1614 and found the line:

if (self == RefreshBtn or self == EditZoneOverride) then  PlaySound("igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn");  end

    I replaced the line with

if (self == RefreshBtn or self == EditZoneOverride) then  PlaySound(PlaySoundKitID and "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn" or 856);  end

    Then refreshing Suggestions worked again.

Trying to use the search tab, I got this error.

1x Overachiever_Tabs\build.lua:634: Usage: PlaySound(soundKitID, optional["SFX","Music","Ambience", "Dialog" or "Master"], [forceNoDuplicates, runFinishCallback])
    [C]: in function `PlaySound'
    Overachiever_Tabs\build.lua:634: in function <Overachiever_Tabs\build.lua:628>

    Locals:
    (*temporary) = "igCharacterInfoTab"

I went to Overachiever_Tabs\build.lua, line 634 and found the line:

        if (button) then  PlaySound("igCharacterInfoTab");  end

    I replaced the line with

if (button) then  PlaySound(PlaySoundKitID and "igCharacterInfoTab" or 841);  end

Then I could use my tabs, however, pushing the search button gave this error:

1x Overachiever_Tabs\Search-Search.lua:186: Usage: PlaySound(soundKitID, optional["SFX","Music","Ambience", "Dialog" or "Master"], [forceNoDuplicates, runFinishCallback])
    [C]: in function `PlaySound'
    Overachiever_Tabs\Search-Search.lua:186: in function <Overachiever_Tabs\Search.lua:185>

    Locals:
    (*temporary) = "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn"

I went to Overachiever_Tabs\Search.lua, line 186 and found the line:

        PlaySound("igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn")

    I replaced the line with

        PlaySound(PlaySoundKitID and "igMainMenuOptionCheckBoxOn" or 856)

Then my search worked... cheers :-)

    I replaced it with

    PlaySound(SOUNDKIT.IG_MAINMENU_OPTION);

I did a search for both PlaySound(" and PlaySound(' in all addon folders and replaced them with the soundkit equivalent. A couple of other PlaySound formatting was missed and I fixed those too.

The only errors I get now is unrelated to PlaySound changes.

Looks like 7.3 broke this addon for me, using the addon button on the esc menu gives an error:

    5x ACP\ACP-r245 .lua:713: Usage: PlaySound(soundKitID, optional["SFX","Music","Ambience", "Dialog" or "Master"], [forceNoDuplicates, runFinishCallback])
