    I have the same issue. It seems like DataStore relies heavily on C_ArtifactUI, which only functions while the artifact window is open. It should probably check to see if the Artifact UI is open before it attempts to call *ANY* C_ArtifactUI-related function, and have fallback behavior when it isn't.

     

    Edit: Also, forcing the artifact UI to open isn't a solution for obvious reasons, as it will just piss off users and lead to them uninstalling anything that relies on DataStore.

    Why is max_talent_sets hardcoded to 15? Shouldn't this be higher, or at least configurable in-game? I hit the limit within an hour, as I set up talent configs for every boss in Nighthold (and a few other things) so I can just read the name of the talent set and know I'm swapping to the correct talents without thinking about it further.

    Is an addon whitelist feature practical? I'd like to see current memory use and manually trigger garbage collection through ElvUI, but I don't see any practical way to do that currently without editing ElvUI and calling ToggleGarbageProtector whenever it wants to use those functions.

    You could pretty easily just check if *anyone* in your raid is targeting the boss, and is within range of you (LibRangeCheck-2.0 still works as of 7.1). Nothing about what this addon does actually requires player map position data to work, just because it's written that way doesn't mean it's impossible to change or useless without that behavior.

    Edit: I had to roll back all the way to r231, and restore my VuhDo.lua files from 2-3 months ago from my PTR folder in order to get VuhDo working again. Everything beyond r231 is completely broken and will not load any of my profiles or bouquets.
