Metadata wildcards is in fact supported, use -1 and the item will cycle through subtypes too. Like the world folder, it is of the owner's responsibility to back up the data.

I don't do support for Sponge, sorry. Unless you can recreate this issue with standard Forge I'm not going to look any further into this.

This both is and isn't a bug. The loot share option was supposed to be migrated to be controlled by the quests themselves but I forgot to finish it. The rewards however were supposed to still be handed out to all party members but a separate bug prevented that. Next update I will be fixing the bug and finishing the code migration for loot share.

Actually this was mostly my fault. I didn't account for the new stack handling 1.11 has and it broke a couple things. That has been fixed now.

Side Note: I've stress tested this mod to insane speeds and sizes. If you managed to overload it some how I'll be quite surprised.

Not likely. I think this would be better suited to a specific tool's functionality rather than trying to get every hoe-like of tool to work like that.

JEI and Minetweaker have tools to obtain the correct block IDs for you. There is also the vanilla F3 + H command to add debug tool tips to items to show their IDs.

Check your controls and configuration files. By default wooden picks are nerfed and excavation activates on sneak.

I may consider it but 1.8.9 isn't the most popular version for mods so there isn't a lot of motivation to port it. On the up side it's not very difficult to do thanks to the mod's simplicity

I wouldn't say it is a 'copy' per-say. Its a completely rewritten version from the ground up with some additional configurations. I can port it to more Minecraft versions as necessary but 1.7.10 and 1.10 are the current mainstream sets of mods and packs.
