The file SpellFlash.lua should no longer be running any code at all. Everything should be running off of SpellFlashCore.lua now... I am not exactly sure how you got this error at all.

I wouldn't say completely abandoned SpellFlashCore. I may try to repair that mod if it stops working. I however don't play the game any more, so I might not always know when it is broken unless someone tells me.

I guess I should stop asking then. It isn't like I ever get any.

To be honest, if blizzard allowed content that developers make for their game to be sold instead of requiring it to be free, I would probably still be actively developing this addon, and would more than likely have produced some pretty kick ass rotation modules for all the classes by now.

But you know what, I was a stupid kid at the time and put a lot of time and effort into an addon that got millions of downloads but almost no donations. Don't get me wrong, I cherished every donation I got. I am a poor motherf%@#er. But f%&$ blizzard for not allowing developers to get the compensation that they rightfully deserve.

SpellFlash has not been updated. There are however some addons that still work with SpellFlashCore.

Yes, the donation links still work. I am definitely not going to try to get anyone's hopes up. I am an honest person and am not trying to deceive anyone. Sure, I would like to update this, but it is a lot of work, I have not played the game in years, and I really doubt that I will be motivated enough to do much more than change toc file numbers.

Well, if spellflashcore is still working for Legion, I could always just do a toc bump for that.

What really bothers me here, is that this mod has donation links on their page.  So, essentially they are bamboozling unaware suckers out of their money, thinking that they will get some return value out of an investment, when the individuals on the other end have absolutely no intention of working on the mod anymore.  If a new modder was none-the-wiser, they might think this is an active mod, being that it is on the top of many lists on this site.

LOL, do you know the last time someone donated to this? Perhaps that may be why I lost interest. I haven't played the game itself in years now, but it has been even longer since the last time someone donated to this. Maybe a donation for all the years that this was useful to someone, even if it was never updated again, wouldn't be such a bad thing...

Heck, enough donations to make my time worth it and I might even consider giving it another try. But I doubt that will happen.

I started to lose interest when the administrators of curse decided to disable the curse point generation on all of the modules I had created. That is mostly why I abandoned them. And from then on I started losing interest more and more. The trickle of donations I would get from users hardly added up to a hill of beans. :(

If the donations could pay for my subscription, that would be a start... Over 13 million downloads and almost nobody donated to this. Almost nobody donates period. And I don't have time for a game that I no longer even play anymore.

I can bump the toc numbers if nothing is broken.

I don't know much about macs, so I don't know if there are any differences in how you install addons with them.

I was wondering when I would see someone do this. I knew it would be pretty simple to implement for addons that are already indicating spell priorities. I just haven't actually noticed one to implement it until now. :)
