    There have been several requests for an update of this addon. But aside from some reports of taint issues, there haven't been any other bugs posted. Is that the only issue; are everyone experiencing taint issues with this addon?

    I am not able to update this addon without knowing what is broken, as I no longer play WoW. Once I know of a certain bug, and how to fix it, I will put out an update.

    Regarding taint. As I am not able to test this out myself, I'm in need of detailed feedback.

    1) There is a file named \World of Warcraft\Logs\taint.log which may, or may not, give more information about UI taint, than what is already reported in-game and shown by bug grabbers.

    2) Did the taint issues only start after the latest release of 16.08.30? The only code change in that release was of the TipTacItemRef module. I'm interested in knowing if by reverting back to the previous release of just the ItemRef addon, or disabling it all together, would stop this taint issues from happening.

    3) Taint in WoW has always been weird. The taint reports blames TipTac, but none of the specific causes for the taint is anything TipTac does. This makes me believe it's falsely blaming TipTac based on another addon's code running during a tooltip event, an event that TipTac just happens to have securely hooked.

    These are just my thoughts, but as I said, I am unable to test it out myself. If someone is able to track this down, it would be very helpful.

    Seems like I had missed your post.

    What exactly is the scenario tooltip, it's not a GameTooltip, does it really need "skinning" by TipTac?

    I've inserted the following code at line 1161, would this work? (can't test it out myself).

    if (tip == WorldMapTooltip) and (WorldMapTooltip.BackdropFrame) then
    tip:SetScale(cfg.gttScale);
        tip = WorldMapTooltip.BackdropFrame;
    end

    I am unaware of any specific thing in TipTac that would cause this. However, taint reports often accuse the wrong addon just for running code in the same call stack.

    It can be a really hard problem to track down, just make sure your addons are up to date.

    I'm currently unsure what a perfect fix would be. For now what you can do is disable the world map tooltips from being altered. If you edit the TipTac\core.lua file and go to line 170, comment out the 4 lines starting with "WorldMap..." by adding two hyphens (--).

    Here is the main ticket:

    Not possible with the current options. If you feel like it, you could add this in yourself, it would be fairly easy to do.

    Go TipTac\core.lua @ line 996, where you will see the code to hide the tooltip in combat. All you have to do is add a condition check for when in a raid. You can do this with the function IsInRaid().

    There are no options to do this specific thing. You'd have to mess with the code yourself to get this kind of functionality.

    Can you post the exact same tooltip, without TipTac enabled for comparison.

    That is a feature request I get often, but it is not something I want added in TipTac.
