About Avengers Nemesis Groups
Fuilly automated Nemesis quest group management!
Reorganizing an Ashran raid to optimize groups for the Nemesis quest can be tedious and can quickly become a full-time job. Now, thanks to the power of The Avengers, handling Nemesis groups just got easier. This add-on enables a simple whisper request system to add players to a visible secondary raid frame displaying which players are on which Nemesis quest. No more remembering who wanted which group or alt+tabing to track players in a notepad. Players are displayed in the frame by priority of timestamp of their request and are automatically removed when they drop raid.
NEW in addon v2.0:
- Auto-arrange option automatically moves players into the appropriate group!
- Players now whisper the race name to be added to a group (eg 'avn Orc')
- Quest links are also accepted in whispers
Console slash commands (for add-on user / Nem group leader)

Posted Apr 10, 2016During a raid yesterday I was told that as I had already completed my Lady of War and Warlord titles (finished all kill quests) I was no longer able to be a contributing member of the groups. I was also told that during a L/L of war session that when they tried putting ppl in the groups who had completed all quests, the kills were not counted. I thought that we used to be able to do this, but it's been a while since i needed the kills. I and others who have their titles would like to be able to help others to complete their quests and get kills, is this possible? Thanks for the addon and all the great and timely updates, as always they are truly appreciated :D

Posted Apr 10, 2016Extra kill credit is only awarded for party members who are both on the quest and have not completed it. Once you reach 500 kills and/or submit the quest, you no longer provide extra credit to your party members. You of course can still help with the actual pvp killing, but I believe the only way to help with extra credit is to use an alt on the quest.

Posted Feb 25, 2016This may sound dumb but how do you add yourself to a group. I can't whisper myself. I tried the add but that won't add me to a group. I can let someone else in the game that has the addon put me in a group. Then you have two groups of my quest race. Just trying to find the best way to do this.

Posted Feb 25, 2016You can either whisper yourself (eg 'avn Orc') or target yourself and use: /avn add Orc
Note you must be in a raid group with assist for this to have any effect. Also, make sure you are using the current version, as very early versions had a bug related to this.

Posted Feb 23, 2016The red indicator just highlights players who are not currently in the raid group corresponding to their queued race. This is normal when there are more than 5 players queued to a race.

Posted Jan 15, 2016is it possible to have popular groups (eg: Panda ) flex to other groups that are inactive or don't have 5 members?
eg: 7 people want panda, group 8 is pandas.
addon puts persons 6 and 7 into group 7 while they wait for panda group to open up.

Posted Jan 15, 2016Good question.
The addon's automatic movement algorithm currently keeps up to 5 players from each race queue in a group together. It does not automatically move players who are beyond the 5th in queue when a group overflows (mostly because the best policy in that situation is debatable), however you can do so manually. Group 8 is not used for any race, so you can always manually move overflow players to that group. If you prefer to split up the group of 5, you'll need to disable the auto-arrange checkbox on the addon, then you can freely arrange groups as desired.
Also keep in mind that when players finish a quest they are not automatically removed from queue, unless they leave the raid or whisper 'avn remove' (the addon has no other way of knowing their quest is complete). Upon reaching 500/500 on the quest, players no longer contribute to group quest credit, but might choose to stick around the bg for conquest, etc. So if some of your queues are overflowing it's worthwhile to periodically remind players to let you know when they complete their quest, so you can remove them from queue.

I found some bugs:
A suggestion: being able to print in /i how many people are doing each quest. Something like "People currently in Nemesis: Humans (2), Gnomes (1)...".
Your addon is very good, man. I'm sure every premade is going to be running it in some weeks!

Posted Nov 19, 2015This addon is SO GREAT! Makes things much simpler. Anyone who's managed Nemesis groups in Ashran knows what a pain in the ass it is. Now it's automated (assuming people read the instructions it puts in group chat)
I did encounter a nasty little bug I'd like to mention though.
Me and a guildie (both 100) were helping a level 93 guildie with the Garrison Invasion that's part of the main campaign of the game. The other level 100 pm'ed me something while we were buffing up, and it caused a cascade of tells (that appears to be from me to myself) to spam all over my screen. I panicked and quickly alt-f4'ed. In my haste, though, I didn't document the exact verbage.
The tell that triggered it was about the fact the guildie was 93, and the spam was about not having activated Nemesis Groups or something like that.
Sorry, this is all I have to share, hopefully it helps.
